As Georgians, we live in a beautiful state with great natural environments, strong business acumen, and, perhaps most importantly, citizens who care. The concern for our state will push us into a future in which we will all thrive. The potential is there for all Georgians to live long, healthy, and prosperous lives, not just the wealthy, the connected, or the lucky. But there is still work to be done to reach that goal. I am running to be the 3rd Congressional District Representative so that I can fight for what is best for our communities, our state, and our country.
My dedication to building a booming economy goes beyond the 3rd Congressional District, as it is my hope that all Georgians can thrive in all 159 counties, not just those at the top. Georgia has a reputation as one of the country’s best states to do business. However, we need to make Georgia one the best places in the country to be employed, live, and retire. The best way to deliver high-quality employment is to invest in small businesses and the assets that all companies need, like a well-educated workforce and robust infrastructure in the 3rd Congressional District. Promoting policies that support workers, eliminate obstacles to opportunity, and foster success for every family is the way to uplift Georgians.
When President Biden took office in 2021, he inherited an economy in freefall, a growing pandemic, dwindling employment, and banking and housing markets on the brink of collapse. Working with President Biden, Democrats vaccinated almost all Americans, stabilized the financial system, helped prevent a second Great Depression, and created millions of new jobs. The Republicans’ mismanagement of the COVID-19 pandemic leads us into the previous health and economic crisis.
As your member of Congress, I will fight to guarantee that all Georgians could succeed and that all working families can enjoy economic security. We must work hard to extend relief to every Georgian so that no one is left behind. Republicans provided taxes cut for the wealthy. In contrast, Democrats are fighting to provide relief for working families, help small businesses and homeowners, and strengthen consumer protections. Despite COVID-19’s effect on almost every industry in our economy, we must provide relief for hardworking Americans who’ve lost employment through no fault of their own. I will not be satisfied until every Georgian who wants to work can find quality employment. We will meet the challenges of this modern century by stimulating job creation, rebuilding our infrastructure, and investing in clean-energy technologies and small businesses.
Together, we will!
No matter their ZIP code, every child deserves access to a quality public K-12 education and affordable post-secondary education. Our children’s lives are the fate of our economy. We know that as the global marketplace grows more competitive, we need to expand opportunities for quality education and valuable job skills. I will advocate for the teachers that preparing our children for the jobs of tomorrow.
Â
History has shown that Democratic leaders have been instrumental in championing the cause of quality public education. Landmark legislation, the G.I. Bill, was passed in 1944 by President Franklin Roosevelt to provide higher education opportunities to World War II veterans. It was this G.I. Bill that defined the modern American middle class. Intending to supply quality education to every child, a Democratic-controlled Congress under President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1965 legislated the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. Recent Democratic legislative victories have further increased access to higher education, restructured and dramatically expanded college financial aid, and improved student outcomes. Furthermore, President Obama addressed big banks’ role in student loans in 2010 by signing into law student loan reform that removed their participation. To make it easier for students to pay back student loans, the Obama administration also doubled investment with Pell Grants reform. President Biden already approved $1.5 billion in federal student loan forgiveness and forbearance.
Â
All this work to make quality education more accessible and in reach of every child hang in the balance now. As the Republicans attempted to walk us back from these fantastic leaps forward that we’ve made on education, we must keep fighting to elect Democrats who will advocate for education.
I am committed to investing in the needs of all students, from high-quality, affordable childcare and pre-kindergarten programs, continuing through fully funded public schools, and finally onto post-secondary opportunities that will lead to a lifetime of success.
As your 3rd Congressional District Representative, I will fight to:

We made significant advances fighting climate change and protecting our nation’s public lands, waterways, and air quality under President Obama. The Department of Transportation and the Environmental Protection Agency issued new fuel-economy standards. The EPA also took steps to regulate carbon dioxide emissions from the largest concentrated source of emissions in the United States — coal-fired power plants. But under the Trump Administration, our country became the only nation globally that was not a party to the Paris Agreement. Donald Trump has called climate change “a hoax invented by the Chinese,” and by choosing to ignore the scientific community’s consensus on climate change, he put our country’s health, security, and economy at risk.
Â
Climate change is one of our country’s most significant challenges. Addressing this imperative danger could make America the world’s clean energy leader and create prosperity with millions of good-paying jobs. The collaboration of the everyday people, the scientific community, and the public and the private sector is key to confronting our most significant environmental challenges and paving the way to a more sustainable America.
Â
President Biden and the Democrats have committed to champion protecting our waterways, air, coasts, and communities from environmental hazards. As a member of Congress, I will fight to curb the effects of climate change, protect Georgia’s natural resources, and ensure the quality of our air, water, and land for current and future generations. I will work to strengthen these protections and create green jobs connected to environmental protection for Georgians. Additionally, I will advocate for policies that address climate change and prioritize preserving the health of our environment for the betterment of our citizens and economic prosperity.

For a stronger Georgia — a stronger America, full inclusion and equal rights are essential for everyone. I believe that every American is equal regardless of race, sex, religion, ethnicity or national origin, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or age. Democrats have a long and proud record of defending civil rights and expanding opportunity for all Americans. From the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act in 2009 to John Lewis Voting Right Act to For the People Act, Democrats have fought to end discrimination in all forms. I plan to uphold that legacy.
I am committed to protecting voting rights, freedom of religion, women’s rights to make their own healthcare decisions, and equal rights for LGBTQ+ individuals. No matter who you are, who you love, where you’re from, how you worship, or your political affiliation, I believe in treating every person with basic human dignity and respect. Only when every person and family has ensured the freedom and opportunity to thrive will we truly succeed.
As your 3rd Congressional District Representative, I will fight to:
Ensure fair treatment of all individuals in the criminal justice system.
Together, we can make a better Georgia.
Vote for me! I will fight for you.
By making quality and affordable healthcare obtainable, President Obama delivered on a long-awaited promise that the American people had been in dire need of for decades. He made history by signing the Affordable Care Act (ACA) into law in March 2010. This victory to the American people resulted from a big fight opposed by republicans and big businesses and a long history of maintaining the status quo.
Although the ACA provided over 100 million Americans with peace of mind from being denied coverage or paying sky-high premiums due to pre-existing conditions, it’s still very much in danger. Some see quality healthcare as a luxury, and the ACA has faced severe opposition since its establishment. However, healthcare is still a fundamental right that we must protect.
The current COVID-19 pandemic shows us how ill-prepared our national healthcare system is in protecting the people. Significant improvements are needed. Sick Americans should not have to make difficult choices between seeking medical care and staying financially afloat. The pathway forward is to enhance the reach of the ACA and expand Medicaid and Medicare. As a healthcare student, a provider, a patient (prostate cancer survivor), and a patient’s family member, I have seen both sides of the healthcare system. My fight against cancer exposed me to the high cost of obtaining essential medical services, prescriptions, devices, and repeated office visits. American healthcare is in a state of crisis. It will take someone who understands science and how the healthcare system works to help resolve the many challenges and prioritize the health and safety of our communities.
As your 3rd Congressional District Representative, I will actively work with President Biden to do all that I can to protect the ACA from Republican efforts to dismantle it. Like Biden, I know that to make the ACA better isn’t to start over but to expand choices offered, reducing costs of medications and deductibles. I will align with other Democrats committed to preserving and protecting the ACA and the peace of mind it has brought to millions of Americans. The progress we have already made is significant, but there is still work to extend and maintain it for the coming generations.

I believe in Georgia’s promise and, as the next member of Congress from Georgia’s 3rd district, I’m committed to upholding and protecting the U.S. Constitution.
As your member of Congress, I intend to uphold every citizen’s right to equal and impartial justice under the law. I believe elected officials must protect the rights of all Georgians and the integrity of the democratic process. I will responsibly sponsor and support legislation that benefits the common good, protects Georgia citizens from discrimination, and protects our liberties. Our laws should not compromise our rights, and our system must deliver fair and impartial justice.

Voting is one of the founding principles that our Democracy is built upon, and it should never be taken for granted. The focus should go beyond the presidential elections, but change starts with your local representatives. Your congressional leaders not only shape federal policy but also help shape state and county strategy.

The right to work in a safe environment is fundamental to all Americans. Strong labor unions lead to a robust middle class. Even today, in 2021, so many Americans, including here in Georgia, face restrictions on their ability to advocate and organize for greater workplace protections. Employers have proven benefits, including a stable and better-trained workforce, higher productivity, lower employee turnover, and improve workplace communication. As a proud union member, I will fight for the right to organize the workplace and be protected from retaliation or intimidation by management.Â
I believe in equal pay for equal work. The 1963 Equal Pay Act protects both men and women against wage discrimination, but today, in the 21st century, there is still rampant gender discrimination. On average, women only make $0.81 for every dollar a man makes. There is a need to enact more robust policies that tackle gender inequality and removes the remaining barriers that deny the total equity of women in the workplace. As a member of Congress, I will support legislation that ensures equal pay for women, paid family leave for all and paid medical leave. I will also fight to ensure women have access to high-quality reproductive health care services.
As your member of Congress, I will fight to guarantee that all Georgians could succeed and that all working families can enjoy economic security. We must work hard to extend relief to every Georgian so that no one is left behind when Republicans cut taxes for the wealthy but not the middle class. Democrats are moving to provide relief for working families, aid small businesses and homeowners, and strengthen consumer protections. Despite COVID-19’s effect on almost every industry in our economy, President Biden is providing relief for hardworking Americans who’ve lost employment through no fault of their own. I will not be satisfied until every Georgian who wants to work can find quality employment. We will meet the challenges of this modern century by stimulating job creation, rebuilding our infrastructure, and investing in clean-energy technologies and small businesses.
Rural America feeds and fuels our country and the rest of the world. A healthy, vibrant rural America is essential to the success of our country. I support President Biden plan to revitalize and to build a new rural American economy for our families and the next generation:
